Hello,
I wanted to get some opinions on where everyone is hosting their DNN install with UVG. I am looking for a host that I will support converting the videos without using the desktop application, among other aspects. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I am currently using GoDaddy to host our portals, and have been looking at several alternatives. Our site is still very new and working on building up the content.

I'm looking for more responses on this. Granted PowerDNN is a good DNN host, if not one of the best, but as a startup site, it would be out of my budget.
Can anyone share their hosting experiences and share host names that support the UVG Codecs. My current goal is to find a host that supports the codecs and supports an upgrade path to a VPS or Dedicated server once site traffic dictates the need. I'll also be using Amazon S3 to limit storage to the host and limit bandwidth usage.
Surely not everyone uses PowerDNN? |

may I can share something with you, bizmodules.net is hosted in websecurestores.com, it seems their servers(not all) support the expternal permission so you can convert videos online, however, this is not advertised.
you can create a trial website in websecurestores, it's free, and you can buy it if you found it do support uvg fully.

Nice to know a trial website is free prior to any commitments!
I've been corresponding with other host providers as well, and have gotten back some good responses, and waiting on other responses. But would still like to hear from others on host experiences. |
