I'm creating a video gallery of demo reels and examples for our company. For each video I'd like to have a fairly extensive HTML block related to each video (more than the short text-only description field that currently exists).

I'd like to be able to use the HTML rich editor to edit this field, then have a separate module (similar to how the ratings or comments modules) to display next to the videos.

thanks for your suggestions, but I think this feature will not be available now, the description is also displayed in the flash player, and flash don't support html well, only a few tags are supported.

Yes - I actually was thinking of an additional/extra field, like "Long Description" that would be in addition to the text-based Description that currently exists.
