Posted By Pengtsen R on 12/26/2007 3:01 AM yes, I saw it. thank you. It's been almost a year since we tell you about this problem, you promised to fix it like 6 months ago and we still waiting.
you said "yes, I saw it", and then?
you haven't seen it before because as you said this only happens with a huge quantity of messages. the problem starts with about 400+messages
please do something! we are loosing visitors because of this.

well, I changed the comment part in UVG 2 so all comments are displayed in a fixed area, thus it doesn't corrupt your page design when you have a lot of comments. did you upgrade to UVG 2? it seems you have another problem, the comments are not loaded when there are too many, I can change UVG so it display latest 100 or 200 comments, do you think it fix your problem? |

| I think it would fix the problem, but could you put paging? like the pager in this forums. I think that it is easy to implement. You could display comments in pages of 20 |

I pulled this page up, and even with "paged comments" the comments still wont load until after the video is finished loading. I noticed 2 things when viewing the page: 1) the file http://web.quekura.com/Videos/VisordeVideo/tabid/74/VideoId/28/container04.css is missing and gets a 404 (not a big deal but should be fixed) 2) I tried to download just the FLV file from this URL http://www.servidordearchivos.com/quekura/El%20miguel%20y%20su%20vieja_768K.flv ( a big deal) When I downloaded the FLV file I noticed it didnt act right, so I checked the packet headers Here is the header when I request a FLV from your server: GET /quekura/El%20miguel%20y%20su%20vieja_768K.flv HTTP/1.1 Accept: image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, application/x-shockwave-flash, application/x-silverlight, application/pdf, */* Accept-Language: en-us UA-CPU: x86 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; iOpus-I-M; Avant Browser; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Alexa Toolbar) Host: www.servidordearchivos.com Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Thu, 08 May 2008 12:07:34 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.61 (Unix) PHP/4.4.7 mod_ssl/2.0.61 OpenSSL/0.9.7e mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 DAV/2 SVN/1.4.2 Last-Modified: Thu, 05 Jul 2007 03:25:24 GMT ETag: "2b247b1-322e2c6-baa77100" Accept-Ranges: bytes Content-Length: 52617926 Content-Type: text/plain You notice the "content type"? " It is set to "text/plain".... I "think" that is causing problems. Here is a proper header from a youtube flv request: GET /get_video?video_id=QME7parrYlA&origin=nyc-v66.nyc.youtube.com&signature=AB286FC212A5C9C60A65956D68B1C146374FD97A.BC523D2095837A956CA3C6370BA1B34FDD30F23A&ip=98.240.227.52&ipbits=16&expire=1210270631&key=yt1&sver=2 HTTP/1.1 Accept: */* Referer: http://www.youtube.com/player2.swf x-flash-version: 9,0,47,0 UA-CPU: x86 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; iOpus-I-M; Avant Browser; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Alexa Toolbar) Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive Host: 74.125.12.26 HTTP/1.1 200 OK Expires: Thu, 08 May 2008 00:32:43 GMT Cache-Control: max-age=3600 Content-Type: video/flv Accept-Ranges: bytes ETag: "-1471197763" Last-Modified: Thu, 01 May 2008 18:12:32 GMT Content-Length: 24739185 Date: Wed, 07 May 2008 23:32:43 GMT Server: lighttpd/1.4.18 Connection: close Notice the Content Type? According to adobe, the proper mime type for FLV's (in windows2003) is "flv-application/octet-stream" source: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19439 You are running Apache/2.0.61 (Unix) PHP/4.4.7 mod_ssl/2.0.61 OpenSSL/0.9.7e mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 DAV/2 SVN/1.4.2, so maybe things are different Problems with improperly set "content type" will affect different browsers differently... Hope this helps... |

comment paging will be included in UVG 2.4, contact me by email if anyone need this now. UVG don't use container04.css, maybe used by DNN container? it seems the IIS is not properly configured to support flv mime type, as content-type is wrong. |
