Hi Pengtsen,
Scott McCulloch has incorporated integration for his News Articles module with Active Social: http://www.activemodules.com/Community/Forums/tabid/68/aft/50485/Default.aspx
Could you incorporate this kind of integration with UVG? |

Great idea.
I am also in this favor.
Even AS has a video section in its journal (the AS journal is just like facebook wall or summary feeds).
Here in this image you can easily see that video feeds are also available http://www.ventrian.com/Support/Documentation/SupportArticles/tabid/335/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/12315/Ventrian-News-Articles-and-Active-Social.aspx
Now there is only need to integrate it with UVG.

| Marrying the 2 best DNN modules available? I'm in favour :) Although it is possible to hack UVG to kind of work, a proper integration schema would be fantastic. |

It would be terrific to see these modules working together. Active Modules will be releasing Active Social 1.8 shortly. This release will include the ability to integrate third party modules into the Active Social Profile, Group and Summary Journals. You can get up to speed on these developments on Will's blog here:

Pengtsen, one more vote on integration with AS from me. I'm sure you have a lot to consider but I'd suggest a .x release to add this incremental capability rather than waiting to incorporate it in a major release. Obviously your call but I am seeing AS hit a sweet spot of integration where you could see a step function up in sales quickly if you integrate.

BTW, I forgot to add that I have been a subscriber of Ventrian for their News Article module for quite some time but had let my subscription lapse. While it is possible I may have resubscribed in the future if they added some significant new capability I can honestly say I resubscribed recently only because of the AS integration they added. (their core capability had hit that point of "good enough" for me). I only add this because I think you may find a similar incremental value, whether it be increasing the % of customers who re-subscribe or increasing sales simply because of the number of users actively seeking modules which offer AS integration.
