Q:I just purchased Site Analyzer, and put it on my portal. I am getting "0 records" when I bring it up. Exactly where does this module get its input from, and how do I configure it?

A:All reports of Site Analyzer, except Module usage & User registration, retrieves data from Site Logs generated by DNN Core. so you must enable it in your DNN portal.

You can enable it here:

Host settings-Advanced settings-Other settings-Site Log History (Days)
&
Admin settings-Advanced settings-Host settings-Site Log History (Days)

You can set it to 30-90days. depends on your portal traffic.
