I would like to update my binaries and find out how to upload mp3. But, I cannot get instructions. I can download the manual. but none of the content seems to be showing up in the right frame when I click on a topic.

| please check "installation guide" chapter, basically, you should unpack the binary pack you downloaded from bizmodules.net, and upload it to Binaries folder on your website. |

Ok, I was able to upload the binaries. However, I have another problem. I have a shared hosting service. They name of the service is godaddy. The problem iIm having is that the permissions check keeps failing. I called up godaddy to see if they could change the permissions. I'm not sure if they know what they are doing. They informed me that windows does not have an "execute" option. So, I wanted to ask you if you could tell me exactly what to tell them? They seem to want to help. Is there some work around for this? Should I tell them to simply change the CHMOD settings to 777? |

GoDaddy doesn't support this permission, you should use UVG Converter instead to add videos in non-flv format. thanks. |

I talked over logistic with myself and using the converter is not an option. So, I have to find another hosting company or find another module that will handle mp3s without any CHMOD adjustments.

well, UVG do handle mp3, UVG doesn't convert it to flv format like other video formats. if you want to find another hosting company, click "DNN Hosting" in top right corner of this page to see our suggestions. |
