Hello, I have a problem I would like some help with please. I have over 12000 pictures organized hierarchically by year/month/date/event_on_the_day. So for example I have the following for 2000 2000 +-02-February +-02-BusinessTrip +-1stWeek +-01-Pic.jpg +-02-Pic.jpg +-03-Pic.jpg +-2ndWeek +-01-Pic.jpg +-02-Pic.jpg +-03-Pic.jpg +-3rdWeek +-01-Pic.jpg +-07-July +-01-SomethingHappenedHere +-15-SomethingElse +-20-SomePicture.jpg +-08-August +-08-Wedding +-01-Pic.jpg +-02-Pic.jpg +-03-Pic.jpg +-10-SomeOtherPicHere.jpg My question has to do with the jpgs/pictures not at the child nodes. I'm trying to upload them but the Add New page says the following: The selected album has sub albums, please select another one Uh, ya, of course there are sub albums, that's the way I want it, I don't want to create another sub folder/album for one picture, not going to hapen. How can I accomplish this please? PS As I mentioned, I have over 12000, is there a way I can just copy the 12GBs of pics (with hierarchy intact) and just use that? Thank you.

you can't upload a picture to an album which contains sub albums, because UMG display its sub albums when you open a parant album, so pictures in a parent album couldn't be seen anywhere even you uploaded them. so you will see this message when you upload "10-SomeOtherPicHere.jpg" to "08-August" album, a possible solution is to create an extra "Other pictures" album under "08-August" album. I suggest you to divide your pictures to multiple galleries, the performance may be bad if you serve 12000 pictures in single gallery. for example, you can create a "Photo Gallery 2002" page, under this page you create a February page, in this page you place a UMG instanct so this gallery only contains pictrures in fed 2002. If you don't have text descriptions for your pictures, you can just upload your pictures to your website by FTP and use UMG "Dynamic Gallery" feature to display them. thanks.
