I have a coupla questions about using dynamic galleries. I have a photo page set up with UMG displaying photos from a phot directory on the site. there are numerous photo folders in that directory. The UMG works fine.
My 1st question is that on the album list section of UMG, it shows the oldest folder first and you have to scroll thru numerous pages to get to the most recent folder. how can I reverse up the list direction so it displays the most current folder on the album list first and you can click thru to older albums.
My second question is regarding the top photos and top album modules. When I place these on a page - I cant get them to display anything. Is this because they are dynamic galleries?
one thing, and this may be the culprit. I upload these folders into the dynamic gallery via FTP - not thru UMG - could this be an issue? I have a tremendous amount of photos to go in every week. Is there a better way?
please let me know.
Thanks!

Now that Im in this deeper, the Album Logo does not display either? on the album list section it just has the name of the folder with no photo count and no thumb. why is this?
The only admin options I have are Code/Appearance/Settings/About

to the 1st question, actually UMG doesn't sort it at all, it just use the GetDirectories method offered by .net framework to get a list of directories, I just did some test and it seem .net framework sort folders by alphabetical order.
to the 2nd question: topphotos doesn't work with dynamic galleries.
dynamic gallery is designed to recongnize photos uploaded by FTP. so the last thing is not a problem.
