Hi,
I have been uploading videos successfully within the last 3months. It's only now that I have tried to upload some more videos, I am getting the following error message:
System.Security.SecurityException: Request failed. at System.Security.CodeAccessSecurityEngine.ThrowSecurityException(Assembly asm, PermissionSet granted, PermissionSet refused, RuntimeMethodHandle rmh, SecurityAction action, Object demand, IPermission permThatFailed) at System.Security.CodeAccessSecurityEngine.ThrowSecurityException(Object assemblyOrString, PermissionSet granted, PermissionSet refused, RuntimeMethodHandle rmh, SecurityAction action, Object demand, IPermission permThatFailed) at System.Security.CodeAccessSecurityEngine.CheckSetHelper(PermissionSet grants, PermissionSet refused, PermissionSet demands, RuntimeMethodHandle rmh, Object assemblyOrString, SecurityAction action, Boolean throwException) at System.Security.CodeAccessSecurityEngine.CheckSetHelper(CompressedStack cs, PermissionSet grants, PermissionSet refused, PermissionSet demands, RuntimeMethodHandle rmh, Assembly asm, SecurityAction action) at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.FileSystemController.cmd(String argm) at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.FileSystemController.CaptureVideoLength(VideoInfo& objVideo) at BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.FileSystemController.AddVideo(VideoInfo& objVideo, String videoPath) The action that failed was: LinkDemand The type of the first permission that failed was: System.Security.PermissionSet The Zone of the assembly that failed was: MyComputer

it seems your server support "external process" permission some times ago, but this permission is no longer available. now please run configuration wizard again, i guess you are no longer able to pass the permission check. thanks. |

Sorry, would you be able to elaborate on what you mean running the configuration again in detail? (I'm still new with DNN).
Or should i re-install the whole module again?
Thanking you in advance.

| no, in UVG_Configurations module, you can find "Configuration wizard" in the bottom of the gallery, please run it, and in the 1st (or 2nd) step click the "Permission Check" button to re-check your permissions. I guess you are no longer able to pass it, however, you were able to pass it sometimes ago. |

Hi,
I've left the problem as we're planning to change servers and updateit to DNN 4.8.3, now none of the videos work on the site.... :(
We are currently running Ultra Video Gallery 2.0.0, do we need to update this to 2.3.0 in order for it to work?
If so, can you provide link for the update? Or do we need to purchase the latest version of 2.3?
Thanks.

My colleague who purchased it is currently on holidays (anyway to speed up the process). Would 2.3 be an update or an upgrade? How much more do we need to pay for the upgrade, if it is an upgrade? We've only purchase the UVG 2.0 at the end of 2007. Can you help? Thanks. |
