It would really be useful to be able to search the description field and pull up a list of images with key words.

Speaking of the search module. I havesome inhancement ideas.
It would be great if we could exploit the same tokens as available to the other satelitte modules. ie: photoID and CustomThumb

also I have noticed that Multicolumns can not be used even if I put the script in the header, body and footer. It just produces a straight line horizontaly

Thanks for the concideration.

I just tried MultiColumns and it works fine, can you show me what problem you got with it?

The Search module does not allow [PHOTOID] and [CUSTOMTHUMB:XxY] to be used.

The problem with the multicolumn can be found here

http://www.loopypix.jp/フォト検索/tabid/1309/Default.aspx

but the problem is there are not many english titles so search this "花" and you will get results

you should still have an admin account, please log in to see the template

Thanks

Mark, I didn't some changes to your template and I don't know what it should be, please check it.

the MultiColumns template is designed to TopPhotos module, I didn't test it together with UMG_Search module, today I checked it and I found it didn't work with UMG-search module. you know, this module use ajax methods to search pictures, it seems the browser doesn't support this kind of usage, even there is no error.

thank you.

I can handle the scrolling if it is not able to use java script, but the token [PHOTOID] I can not do without...makes a search really pointless unless you can send the user to the correct photo they wish to see.

and for the sake of good visuals, the custome thumb size would be great.

Thank you for all your support

Mark

[PHOTOID] will be supported in next minor upgrade.

custom thumb won't be supported, search module is different with TopPhotos, TopPhotos is a normal ascx control and be generate cutstom thumbnail easily. but the Search module use ajax method to get search result, in this case a lot of environmental variables like portal id, portal path, module path, module settings... all of them are inavailable so it is hard to generate the thumbnail.

thanks.
