Hi there,

I've just spent some time this evening trying to restyle my gallery and have some suggestions for a future release.

The main suggestion is simply to provide more detailed styling options for items that are embedded in the Flash.

In particular, I'd like to be able to get rid of the 1px borders around the albums and the buttons. The 1px border is a bit of an old-fashioned look these days when everything is going 'web 2.0' style, which often means no borders.

There's also the style of the fonts in those buttons and the albums. It'd be nice to be able to change that.

And also, I'd very much like to be able to make the button bar transparent like the other parts can go.

Then there are the transport buttons.. they seem to have a strange light-green or turquoise shadow colour on their lower edges. It looks like the same colour as the "close" button on the album screen uses as the mouseover colour. Perhaps these images are changeable.. I'll go have a look after this.

And one final area where the colours matter.. in the new Presentation add-ons. I tried out the Virtual Tour one and really wanted to use it but the slider bar is too big and fat and I also could not change it to darker colours (black) because the arrows are already permanently black.

So, the basic suggestion is just to add more flexibility in the colour and other styling options. I think that being able to customize the appearance in detail is one of the major features of UMG.

Thanks heaps
Rob

At first, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.

I'm always trying to expose as much settings as possible, there are 60+ options in Apperence settings of UMG Classic, the problem is, it's impossible to allow you to set every aspect of the player. even with hundreds of options.

So if any color or behavior is required to be adjustable by many clients ,I'll consider to add such an option. otherwise, you may consider to purchase the flash source and do it by your self.

Thank you.
