Hi,
I have some questions.
1) Can I replace "screenshot not available" with a different jpg for an audio file?
2) In the Video Configuration, what are Web Composing Roles for? This is not in the user guide.
3) If Manage Roles are set to administrators, then why can I only see videos I have added when logged in with my host account? I can't see video or audio uploaded by other administrators. However, one of my administrators was able to delete a video that I added. Do I have to create another account for myself just to manage these videos? My media admin is also a host and he can only see his own videos too. How can I make the host account be able to see all videos?
Thanks for the help, Bee |

I couldn't figure out how to edit my post, sorry. As per your instruction guide, I have also tried to make a dedicated player tab for an audio only category so that I can make the player 50 high to not display the video window. The problem is that when i change the size of the video window, the settings apply themselves to the player on both the audio page and the video page. I can't set them independent of one another, but the settings appear to be global. ~Bee |

1, the default picture is No_Screenshot.jpg in images folder if screenshot is not available. 2, users in this role are only allowed to add video from internet 3, are you talking about UVG_MyVideos module? this module only shows videos added by your self. you can check UVG_Videolist to see all videos. 4, about the embed issue, please search for CfgEmbed.xml in this forum. about the last question, yes, gallerywidth and height are global settings, the reason is, UVG_VideoInformation need this parameter to generate the popup and embed code, if this isn't a global video UVG_VideoInformation is not able to get it. thanks. |

Thank you for answering all of my questions. I did everything you said and it worked out great.
The only thing I wanted to point out is that I did a search on CfgEmbed.xml and it turned up nothing when I searched in the forum or on your site, but when I searched on google it took me right to it in your forum, strangely enough.
The only issue I still have now is that I can't edit video added by other admins on my site and visa versa. Example, another admin uploaded a video and misspelled the title and didn't add a category and the screenshot is black. I feel I should be able to just fix those things while I've noticed it without having to wait on the other person to fix it.
Again I want to say thank you for your great modules and help.

Thank you that's great. I edited the video information successfully. But, no matter what I tried I could not capture a screenshot. The screenshot is still black. ~Bee |

so did you click the permission check button and ensure you pass the permission check? however, I just noticed you said the screenshot is BLACK, please note you get a "screenshot not available" picture if UVG failed to capture a screenshot, if you get a black picture then it must be the screenshot. thanks. |

I'm sorry to keep bugging you but the screenshot capture isn't working.
This is what I get if I click on Run Permission Check: ASP.NET Trust Level: Unrestricted. The binary pack is not installed, or ASPNET/Network_Service account don't have necessary permissions to access it, you are not able to upload any non-flv videos now. For further information please refer to "Installation guide" chapter in the User Guide.
I don't have the binary pack installed.
I am not able to capture any video screenshots. This time the autoscreenshot captured a grey screen because the first 11 seconds of the video is grey. I tried capturing a screenshot for various times past 11 seconds and the screenshot does not change at all.

I'm confused, so did you install the binary pack? if possible, create a host account for me so I can check it easily. thanks. |

I didn't install the binary pack. We are using the UVG converter to convert and upload the video. It works great. After uploading I am unable to change the screenshot that is automatically created and I am stuck with a gray or black screenshot. I've tried this with 3 different videos now. (2 of the 3 have been deleted because we do a new one each week.) I've created a host account and sent the details to service@bizmodules.net. Thanks, Bee |

ok, to capture screenshot online you need to install the binary pack and pass permission check. if you don't want to install the whole binary pack, you can upload ffmpeg*.exe only. thanks. |

Okay I ended up having to install the whole binary pack. Next, I ran the config wizard and passed the permission check. Then, I was able to capture screenshots. But, the capture did not replace the thumbnail from the original upload that shows in the Video List module. I had to manually reduce the newly captured shot, rename it, and copy it to the folder where it is supposed to go in order to replace my grey screenshot from the original upload. This is not something I really want to have to do every week. Plus, my video quality is very bad. Thanks, Bee |

if you have bad quality, please increase video width and bit rate. about the screenshot issue, in default video listing modules use [ROTATEDSCREENSHOT] to show a series of screenshots from your videos, if you want to the show the screenshot you captured by your self, please use [CUSTOMTHUMB] token instead. |

This is the default token that I was using before: [ROTATEDSCREENSHOT:120x90]. It doesn't seem to be rotating anything but keeps the same screenshot always. I don't know if this is because I used the converter. This is the size screenshot I want. If I replace that with [CUSTOMTHUMB] then in my Video list it shows up as the actual text [CUSTOMTHUMB] instead of showing me a picture. I think it might be a text hyperlink but I didn't click on it. If I change it to [CUSTOMTHUMB:120x90] Then it shows the text hyperlink below instead of a picture: /Portals/0/UltraVideoGallery/antny7/120x90/633415255460862500.jpg Clicking on the hyperlink takes you to the Video Player and loads the correct video. I don't know what else to try. ~Bee |

ROTATEDSCREENSHOT depends on the permission check, it work if you pass it. [CUSTOMTHUMB:XxY] is right, this token doesn't output html IMG tag, so please add a img tag to wrap it. thanks. |
