I walked through the config process, but still my video's don't appear to be getting pushed. I entered my Access Key and secret key, which it appeared to accept. It retrieved a bucket I had previously created, set batch quantity to 2, and short url to Yes. I then modified the scheduler in host settings to run every hour, then restarted the app, just in case. Finally I uploaded 3 videos. Unfortunately in the scheduler log the only thing it shows is "tried to move 2 videos to amazon s3".....
Am I missing something? The attempt is being made to move the vid to S3 but it def is not completing as I am also directly validating the files are not getting added to the bucket.
Thanks,
Chris

| OK, I believe this is the key piece from the errors being logged:Affirma.ThreeSharp.ThreeSharpException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure. |

I just sent my domain to the service-at-bizmodules.net account. Didn't post it here as I do not yet want the site widely accessed. Thanks, Chris |

well, yes and no. After Further research I believe the problem may actually be on the UVG side... Per your instructions I created a new bucket. I used a very basic name, and yes that worked. However, one of the things Amazon allows is sub-domain pointing so that instead of the file downloading from some amazon URL, you can create a very specifically named bucket and then make the appropriate DNS changes. I was not yet going to go this far as I didn't want to assume UVG had the flexibility to set the url which would be used for S3 rather than the default. However, I would assume UVG would support the S3 naming conventions? From my limited testing it appears using a naming convention like media.domain.com, which is perfectly acceptable within the S3 naming conventions, causes issues for UVG when the file move is attempted. Interestingly I was able to create a bucket in UVG using this naming convention, it appears only the batch process runs into issues. I have only done limited troubleshooting at this point but I "think" the issue is pointing back to an issue in how UVG supports amazon bucket naming conventions, however, I could be wrong, it certainly wouldn't be the first time! Thanks again for your help! Chris |

| I'm not familiar with "amazon bucket naming conventions", however, the path of the video is invisible to public visitors after moving to amazon s3, so I think even the original s3 path is ok. |
