It seems there is a youtube API change in past 24 hours, if your youtube videos(added from internet url) doesn't work, please download and upgrade UVG to latest 2.4.4.
anyone who purchased UVG 2.x can download it on snowcovered My Downloads page, please go ahead to download it even the download name shows a prior version.
anyway, adding youtube videos with embed code is always suggested. |

Upgrading to version 2.4.4 caused the same problem as the last upgrade ThreadAbortException error. see this thread http://bizmodules.net/Support/tabid/55/forumid/13/tpage/1/view/topic/postid/7985/Default.aspx#7986
Even though I got ThreadAbortException error, I think the upgrade worked. Perhaps a few others could confirm this.
I noticed that a javascipt error was being generated in the new version:
Line:64
Char:3
Error: 'swfobject' is undefined
code:0
I also noticed that below the player (which is working) I now have a flash logo/graphic and the text "Install latest flash player if you can't see this gallery."
Please advise how to fix this. |

I didn't get the script error on our test server so I guess it occurs just because you performed an unsuccessful upgrade.
now can you try to manually unpack these files from UVG PA and copy to your folder?
VideoPlayer.ascx
BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.dll, to /bin folder.
Resources.zip - Scripts - swfobject.js, to /Desktopmodules/UltraVideoGallery/Scripts folder.
For any one who can't upgrade UVG 2.4.3 to 2.4.4 properly, you can just manually copy BizModules.UltraVideoGallery.dll in UVG 2.4.4. PA to your bin folder. only this file is changed from 2.4.3 to 2.4.4.

does it work before the upgrade? are you sure?
do you get any error in the upgrade process?
can you upload UVG 244 PA again? no need to uninstall it first. |

When I try to re-install I get :

| UVG 2.4.4, licensed copy. I can see new comments, but not ones that existed before the upgrade though they count in the Comments count. |

| In the future, could you please send an email when this type of thing occurs? I noticed that half my videos had stopped working over 10 days ago and made a note to fix it. All it took was the upgrade but I had to think how many users I lost in that time. I'd appreciate some notification via email for an issue like this in the future please... |

| I would suggest if you dont regularly vist the support forum, to subscribe to the forum, and get email notifications. A lot of questions may not pertain to you, and your site.. but at least you'll know of new releases, and issues that may affect you and your site. |
