I have setup a personal gallery under one tab. This is working fine and each user can create their own gallery. Now i wish to add another tab which displays all the personal galleries and links to each individual one. How can i do this?

personal galleries can't be made public, only the owner can see it.

Actually here is what I did.

Use personal gallery mode, then on another tab ad the gallery control and set it to normal. Then use the UMG Importer, select Transfer. Choose the Module id that is for the personal gallery. this will list all the personal galleries in source album drop down.

Then select the normal gallery module as the destination and click MAP. Do this for each album. It will map, not transfer the image paths to the normal gallery.

The only caveat is that you will need to stay on top of it if you want all personal galleries to be included. What I did was inform my users that if they wish to have their galleries publicly listed to shoot me an email once created.

Good luck.

Is there no other way to do this so it is more automated?

Is it not possible to add an option in the next update so personal galleries are either defined as public or private by Admin, and then allow a second gallery to pull from the personal gallery if public is selected?
