this url is not working: http://empad.net/ajaxpro/prototype.ashx I think you should uncheck "Check file exists" option in your IIS for ashx file type. |

| There is no "ajaxpro" directory on the site.
Where in IIS do I make a change?
Thank you again |

the above url should return a javascript file. you should check IIS Site Properties -> Main Directory -> Configurations -> Double click ashx -> uncheck "Check file exists". |

| Sorry, but I am not getting this.
I opened IIS7 local and connected to the remote website, I see a lot of options, but not the one you mentioned.
Thanks again |

| I forwarded your direction to the hosting co and got this reply, :
If you wish for us to change the permissions of a file or folder we do require that you provide the following information to change the permissions of a folder/file on your web hosting service:
1) The domain name:
2) The file/folder in which you wish the permissions to be changed for and the full path to it, example domain.com/folder/file:
3) The permissions you wish to give it (read, write, read & execute, modify, full control):

ajaxpro is installed by UMG automatically. I didn't suggest you to change a "permission", I suggested you to do this job: check IIS Site Properties -> Main Directory -> Configurations -> Double click ashx -> uncheck "Check file exists". |

| I finally received a reply from my host:
"The section is the Handler Mapping section."
I see three entries for ashx, but no check boxes to uncheck for file exists.
I really need to get this fixed for my client.
I re-installed just in case, but still no change, also there is no ajaxpro directory after install.
Please help. |

This option is set in IIS Manager, I'm not sure it can't be set in the web interface. My operation system is in chinese, however, I made a screenshot for you with some tips. with it you can find where the option is, if you don't have access to it please send it to your hosting company and require them to change it in this way. www.bizmodules.net/portals/0/images/checkfileexists.jpg |

| The screenshot you sent me is for IIS6, I am hosted on Windows Server 2008 and only IIS7 will work, but it is different. Please give me instructions to fix this with IIS7.
Thanks |

I'm sorry I don't have windows 2008, to make a fresh installation will take me many hours. However, it's just a screenshot to demonstrate which option should be changed, I think your hosting company should be able to find out what am I talkin about in their IIS 7. thanks. |

| If I can get this box unchecked, will I need to re-install the module? Again, the program did not install an ajaxpro directory. |

there isn't an ajaxpro directory, http://empad.net/ajaxpro/prototype.ashx is generated dynamically. If you can find this option you don't need to install UMG again. |
