I found a pattern for the amazon elastic encoder - video encoding error. The system is throwing encoding Error for Videos that have spaces in the Filenames. I checked the jobs in Amazon and following are the files that are failing encoding.

    username/username%20-%20HelloWorld%20-%20Test.flv
    username/VID-20161027-WA0004[1].mp4
    username/HelloWorld%20-%20Test.flv

It looks like uvg doesn't like ' ', '[' and ']' in the file names. Can we replace those characters in the filenames to '+' while uploading the videos? Amazon changes those characters to '+' while uploading the files. But UVG uses '%20'. Can you please add a fix in place?

I also would like to send a notification to the user when the video is approved or rejected. Is that feature available in UVG?

    Thanks,
    Sumi.

I'll probably just remove %20 completely if this is the issue. By the mean time, please ensure your video does not have these characters before uploading to UVG.

It does not notification emails when it is enter approved or rejected.
