After working with the module I have noticed some other issues that could use some attention.

1- When looking at the map view per location I noticed it shows expired events that are past the dates they were originally scheduled. These items should not show up after the end date scheduled.

2- When using the Search module I find the control inconsistent on it function.

a- When searching by location it will not find any results unless you add a Date Range

b- When searching by Keyword it pulls event names that contains part of the event name in BOLD which would be expected However if finds other results that don't have all or part of the Keyword in it. For example if I search for "belt' I find three results two are "Intro to Belt and Chain Drive systems" which is expected and one results "Aerial Lift Operator Training" from what I can tell it's searching within the Descriptions as well when looking for results which my not be ideal for some applications.

c- If you have multiple events with the same name it will show them when searching by Keyword, whereas it should only show one instance. Because once selecting one of them it will show all of the events after clicking 'Find Events'

1, it will be fixed in next minor upgrade.
2a. I just tried it and it seems to be working well. Please note it deafults to next one week if you donot change a date range.
2b, So you would like the one without "belt" to be removed from your search result?
    2c, This will be reviewed.

    Thanks.

    Regarding 2A

Is there a way to adjust this setting, for our needs it would be point less to only look a week into the future for each location. Creates confusion when you are thinking you are viewing all events, which in reality your only looking a week forward.

    Regarding 2B
Yes we would only need to search the title and not the total description, I guess it would have been better to have a choice to search deeper.

    I agree with you.

But I also donot want to search for all events, which might generate a long list. So I changed it from the next 1 week to next 3 months.

Let me know if this is still not good enough to you.

The fix will be included in next minor upgrade(1.8.3).

    Thanks.

I guess in a way it would be better to let the end user define the length, we plan out our events a year in advance. So we like to look 12 months into the future. However I have noticed the past events are shown as well unless you remove them. Is there a way to prevent past expired events from show without manually removing them?

A possible workaround is to use jquery on the search page to fill the date range textbox in advance.
