I noticed after editing the MapView Javascript file to prevent rotating events and zooming to the first event as suggested in a previous post. That the drop down above the map doesn't work as expected. By default it shows All Events which it seems to do. However switching to different events yield no results even going back to All Events will not work.

Also depending on how many characters your event is will effect the selection box area causing the down arrow to carriage return to a second line.

    Currently running version 1.7.9

Checking up on the issues, were you able to recreate or see it in action?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

It seems the drop down list above the map does work. I tried to choose a few categories, and it did filter out some events.

By the way. So you do not want the map view to rotate?

I am considering to make it rotate, but STOP at the first event after the 1st rotation. If I make this change, do you think if you can use this version instead of your customized version?

I am thinking you didn't understand the problem..

When you first goto the map view it is populated with several Green and Red pins I believe 10 total. Again I think this is being limited to a specific time frame. I know there is more events on the schedule.

So on the map view if you select Industrial Maintenance you are presented 2 events currently. If you select EH&S you are shown one pin.

If you then select All Events you are presented with two green pins which is not all of the events currently in the database.

So there is some issues on this.

I am going to upgrade to 1.8.1 this evening becasue I noticed some other issues on a different part of the module that I will bring up in a different post to keep the issues separate.

Regarding the rotating map, I prefer it the way I modified it, the animation is to busy for the end user. I am working on reducing the text size when you click a map item becasue it doesn't always look good on the screen.
