I inadvertently loaded this to the wrong section of your support forum (it's not especially clear, I have to say!) - here it is again:
I have a client who is using UMG 9.8.9 revision 14226 and has a usability problem. They have created a 'secure' pictures gallery with watermarked images where the watermark contains the message "This image is protected copyright, please email email@example.com for permission" , but the problem is that the person selecting the image has very little information to identify the picture with, especially if the person loading the images has been unimaginative in their use of tags and titles. An image called "Packed Crowds" for example, with no description or tags.
the second problem is that even if the person wishing to use the image can search for "Packed Crowds", and right-click on the image to get a URL where it is stored, the administrator receiving the email with the link can't send the user back the RAW file without going into FTP and identifying the image by the albumID which is too complicated (and time consuming) for most gallery administrators. A work-around would be to load the RAW file so that the user could click on the Download link bottom right, but then that would defeat the point of having a protected image!
I read somewhere that the function of the buttons below the image could be configured, but I can't see where in this version.
Can tokens be added below the image with the original file name, path to the folder, server path of the RAW file, etc?
Please help, the client is tearing chunks of hair out and throwing them at me!!
