Thank you for a wonderful product and support. We were using UVG version 5.x previously and upgraded to the 6.x recently. we like the new updates - like elastic transcoder and things like those. But we have a couple of questions regarding

1. RSS
2. Video Search

In the previous version( ver 5 ) of UVG there used to be Video RSS. We also used this rss to submit to search engines. Like the following.

http://www.domainname.com/DesktopModules/UltraVideoGallery/feed.aspx?type=RecentVideos&items=30

In the newest version the rss is not working. Whether I am doing something wrong here or the rss is not implemented in the new version of UVG?

Regarding Video Search: it was a very good feature in the old version. It was a separate module. But in the new version it's is together with UVG_VideoList module. I am loosing a lot of flexibility with the module. If it was a separate module, I could have make it available to other pages too.

Thanks,
Sumi.

Feed.aspx still works in UVG 6, but there isn't such a link in the video list module, you can manually build one if you like, just pass in LibraryId to represent your library ID and Type to represent the video list type, e.g., MostDiscussed, MostPopular, MostViewed, RecentVideos, TopRated, or AlphabeticalOrder.

However, I just found there is a bug in the feed that it may return a empty list, this problem has been fixed in latest UVG 6.6.4.

Thanks.

Cool! that worked. Thank you.

I wasn't passing the libraryid. So the feed was empty. When I passed the libraryid as a parameter, it worked.

Is there a plan to create a separate module for "Video Search"

Thanks,
Sumi.
