When you right click on the video player window, you see the default Flash menu with the 3 options "Settings," "Global Settings," and "About Adobe Flash Player ..."

Is there a way to add a menu item to that context menu? I see where you are configuring some parameters for the EMBED and OBJECT in the VideoPlayer.ascx file but I am not sure exactly how to access/use the ContextMenu parameter? I have seen this parameter used in several other flash player wrappers.

All I'm looking for is a way to add a text entry to the right click menu...nothing fancy.
Please help!

I remember the menu items can only be added by actionscript, which means you need to customize the video player.(uvg.swf)

Thank you very much for your response.

But how I customize your uvg.swf as you suggest? I've done a lot of searching to learn about customizing swf players via actionscript, but all I keep finding are articles describing how to edit FLV (not swf) flash players and how to create custom classes in actionscript, etc.

Can you please tell me how I can simply access your uvg object and change some property? I mean, where would I add code to get access to, and modify/customize your uvg.swf player, and what do I use...javascript? (would it be in VideoPlayer.ascx? because I see what looks like some settings being configured in that file...)

I believe I can figure the rest out if you can just give me a concise example of accessing your uvg.swf object and changing/adding some property via actionscript or javascript or however I would need to go about doing it.

Thank You!!

You need to obtain the flash source, uvg.fla, which is a part of the source package of uvg 5 which can be ordered on dnn store.
