Is there a way via the UVG 3 user interface to update a video (i.e. upload a new video over an old one) without creating another VideoId? (This would preserve any URL links to the video.)

I see that I could probably "hack" a solution by finding the video's GUID filename (e.g. "ff64f780-ca07-4945-8a30-540570005e3a.mp4") and replacing that file. But I was looking for a better solution.

VideoId is generated by sql server, everytime you upload a new video it get a new id.

the hack to the file name is a possible solution.

The problem for me is if I post a training video and people link to it, I have no easy way to update the video (to correct a mistake, for example) while preserving the link.

I did notice even if I upload a video with the same name, it gets a new video id. I can understand that for general public uploading. One possible solution would be to have a Configuration option that allows uploads with the same name to overwrite the original upload.

Another solution (the one I expected) would be to allow users to go to the Edit Video screen and upload a replacement video if desired. Maybe something for a future version.

Onward!

Yes, I would love to have that functionality as well, where there is an option to replace a video without changing the id, only the actual video file.
