I have just installed UVG and read the documentation, but am still confused about how to apply it to my situation. Although I plan to eventually use its dynamic YouTube-like listing capabilities, all I want to do right now is use the player to play five specific MP4 videos. Each video must appear on a different page on my site and be clickable from that page. The videos are already uploaded to my Amazon S3 account.

Would appreciate a reply giving me steps to follow to accomplish this, including which modules to install and where. Thanks so much!

Since the video are uploaded to amazon you should now add them with "from internet url" option.

you want to play them on separate pages, the easiest solution is to use the CompactPlayer module.

Thanks so much! Got it to work.

New question: How can I set videos to play before they have fully buffered?

it DO play before it's fully buffered.

however, I'm talking about videos generated by UVG. if you encode mp4 videos by your self, please ensure your encoding software place the video lenght in the HEADER of the video. rather than the end.

thanks.
